GST Registration Kaise Kare – Step by Step Guide (2025)

Agar aap apna business start kar rahe ho ya already kisi service ya product ka business kar rahe ho, to aapko GST Registration karwana zaroori ho sakta hai.

GST (Goods and Services Tax) ek indirect tax hai jo India mein har product aur service par lagta hai. Agar aapka turnover ₹20 lakh (some states mein ₹10 lakh) se zyada hai, to aapko GST registered hona zaroori hai.

Step 1: GST Ki Requirement Samjhein

Aapko GST kab lena chahiye?

  • Jab aapka turnover ₹20 lakh+ hai (some states ₹10 lakh)

  • Agar aap interstate goods supply karte ho

  • Online platforms (Amazon, Flipkart) pe bechte ho

  • E-commerce services provide karte ho

Step 2: Important Documents Ready Rakhein

  • PAN Card (business owner ya business entity ka)

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Business address proof (electricity bill, rent agreement)

  • Bank account proof (cancelled cheque / bank statement)

  • Passport size photo

  • Business constitution document (proprietorship, partnership, etc.)

Step 3: GST Portal par Register Karein

  1. Visit karein: https://www.gst.gov.in

  2. “Services > Registration > New Registration” par click karein

  3. Details fill karein:

    • PAN, mobile, email (OTP verification)

    • Business name, address, nature of business

  4. Temporary Reference Number (TRN) milega

  5. Login using TRN & fill Part B of the application

  6. Documents upload karein

  7. Submit application with DSC (Digital Signature) / EVC

  8. Aapko ARN (Application Reference Number) milega

  9. Verification ke baad aapka GSTIN issue ho jayega within 7 working days

Step 4: GST Certificate Download Karein

  • Login to portal

  • Services > User Services > View/Download Certificate

  • Aapka GST certificate PDF format mein mil jayega

Step 5: GST Returns & Compliance Follow Karein

  • Monthly/quarterly GST return bharna zaroori hai

  • GSTIN ko invoice aur bills par print karna hoga

  • Time par tax file karna business ke liye necessary hai
